That's simply untrue. Sure, you can get rich through investments, but you still need a solid chunk of money to invest. Hard work can, at the very least, get you to that point.
Depends on your definition of rich. Six figures would give me enough money to not have a care in the world. I intend to be at that point around age 27.
Work smarter. Work harder. Set goals, and don't stop until you meet them. Develop a valuable skill. Develop it further. Be the best. If you're not the best, keep working at it until you are.
I'm not rich, but I'm comfortable. I'm very good at my chosen skill and get paid pretty well for it. Even so, I'm continuing to get better at it. As I do, I will get paid more for it. One day I will be rich because I don't blame others for my own failures. I accept and learn from my failures, and work through them.
