Except this isn't really the case, studies have shown banks make appropriate evaluations based on total default risk, (which is correlated but not solely based on credit score). Blacks with credit score X default at rates slightly higher than whites with the same credit score.

The market would make up for it, the truth is the bank just has money on its mind and is not really an entity of justice, it will charge whites as high interest rates as the market will allow them.
