I've felt this way many a time... You can't choose your race, where you're born, what height you'll be, what you'll look like, which disorders you will inherit, ad infinitum. How much choice do we really have? Sometimes I feel that I'm stuck in a really shitty movie simply fulfilling a role.

I'm keenly aware that much of my life is outside of my control. Not all of it. But a whole lot.
