Ever thought that the person replying might find it a little offensive if, for instance, they have a relative come back from military service with limbs blown off? Or a relative who is dying from cancer who is on permanent morphine for the pain? Or any other of a number of scenarios where there is real pain, not just emotional heartache?
Ever thought maybe the person didn't think a bunch of people were gonna purposefully misinterpret what was written so they can be outraged? Do you think this person tried to literally compare not having a girlfriend to that scenario, or even thought that far ahead because he didn't expect autists to take it to the extreme?
Of course there are worse fates. I'm sure the person meant relative to other small problems, not to the death of loved ones. Go find some other pointless thing to be angry about.
I'm not angry... But the person who replied could have been in the middle of dealing with some of that shit and just found it insensitive in the extreme.
I find a lot of those meme things to be rather shallow anyway, but people these days just love them. I do understand the sentiment displayed though.
