Having a home isn't as great as homeless people think

Homeless people would be very disappointed if they thought living indoors would solve all their problems.

it’s almost as if homeless people bitch and moan about their situation but havent done anything to change it

It's seriously pathetic to hear them talking about houses as though all their problems would disappear once they found a place to live. Real talk: if you can't be happy on the street then aren't going to be happy with a roof over your head.

Yeah, true. I've lived in multiple 10 bedroom mansions but it doesn't make me happier than a homeless hobo. Having a roof over your head is not everything in life.

Some of my best memories are from when I went camping

Inteviewers would give them a job if their personalities weren't so shit.

Nobody is entitled to a job your fucking jobcel

it’s almost as if

Classic, kek

I was declared legally homeless a year or two ago, and soon I'm getting a cheap house through a housing association.

In the UK, the council has the right to house everybody, based on my experience yes it's loads of paperwork and interviews and spilling your guts and woe is me stories to support workers, but at the end it gets you a place to alive.

The council's also have emergency shelter for people with nowhere to sleep overnight, and if you can't afford rent you can get benefits to pay for it.

It does seem to me that at least in England, most homeless people either haven't bothered to try, or they are aliens that aren't eligible for council housing. Also the affordable housing schemes have an unfair bias towards women and people with kids, as a single male it took me over 5 years to be given a property.

do they put them in buildings that they then burn down on purpose to get rid of the poor people, kek

I wish we had more Grenfell tower incidents, but alas they went and increased fire safety after that.

They're not fucking entitled to housing, who do they think they are? It's natural selection for them to be out there in the cold, losers.

Being emancipated isn't as great as black people think. Sure, not being a slave can be good at times, but overall having rights and being considered a person is just a burden. Slaves just need to focus on other things.

If you are a slave try picking up a hobby. Play the banjo, write a gospel song, knitting, etc. While I can't entirely relate to your life, I know there is so much more to life than working. Also it really doesn't help your case that you hate white people. Yeah I get it, but in the end, only you have personal responsibility for yourself. Don't blame other people for your own misfortune. You just have to do your best and work hard and you'll make it out. The thing is, everyone has their own problems that they're going through, and just because yours seem particularly difficult, it doesn't mean you should give up. Remember that no one is entitled to a decent life, and the universe is often cold and callous. Best of luck :)

Slaves wouldn't be enslaved if they showered more often.

Hahahahahaha I'm dead. They should all put a smiley face at the end.

Nobody is entitled to rights, you have to take showers, groom and watch movies with white protagonists to improve yourself

There is all this stress for cleaning and maintenance. It really is not worth it. I envy the homeless

Most homeless people haven't even asked for a home. Can you really call yourself homeless if you don't even try?

If they try hard to get a home, does that make them.. tryhards?

You're right. Sometimes the wood creaks at night, and sometimes a centipede will come crawling out of a corner to assault your eyes as it darts across the room. Don't even get me started on having to lock the door when you leave! And not just once - every time!

There's more to life than just having a home.

HOMELESS PEOPLE ARE DISGUSTING

I was homeless for a while and now I'm not, not being homeless is way better, anyone who could say something this purile must really have it easy and obviously has never been homeless

Missed the point by a country mile.

I don't see why homeless people feel so entitled. Having a home isn't everything and you're not going to die. Why dont they cry some more about it.

Y'all lil niggas from Africa aren't entitled to food. Sure it's great at first, but it starts tasting like shit after you get used to it. Why don't you just lower your standards and eat rocks???

If you just worked hard enough and tried pulling yourself up instead of wishing a house would fall in your lap you'd be more likely to get a house. Fix yourself instead of bitching about being homeless.

The IQ in this thread is over the roof

Bunch of fiddlers.

over for a poor milkman with five daughters

Here's the thing. Society can provide things for you. Society cannot compel a woman to have sex with you.

So we can work towards a post-scarcity society where everybody has a home, but everybody has a gf is not possible, because then you would have to compel a woman to have sex with a 2/10.

that's the difference

Who said anything about society providing something for us?

I am pointing out why people aren't as harsh in words against the homeless as they are against incels.

You're missing the point completely and arguing against a strawman

You're missing the point completely and arguing against an unrelated, irrelevant point

Heh, that's an everyday thing for that type of user.

If they have a home that they didn’t work for, then that money is taken from me, a taxpayer. Can society compel me to pay taxes in order to support those people? Absolutely. Can society compel women to sleep with unattractive men? Absolutely.

And if you’re wondering, no, I don’t support government provided girlfriends, I find that idea ridiculous. I just pointed out that your argument is flawed.

Are you retarded? Do you actually think everyone has a home?

Wrong. There are some countries that hire sex workers for their disabled male population, they have acknowledged that sex is a need, not a desire. At least in the same way that shelter is a need.

We could do that I'm the west, but you know...... Feminists and the untaxable nature of prostitution means the government would rather excecute us.

wait what is this based country that does this

Society cannot compel a woman to have sex with you.

not with that attitude

Protection from the elements is overrated. The homeless need to get over it. No one owes them anything.

This has to be sarcasm because no normal human could think up such stupid shit.

name checks out

It sure does... wouldn't be my name if it didn't.

kek

Just like getting a girlfriend, it won't solve ALL his problems, but a pretty damn big one.

I’m a capitalist pig and would cry for days if my home were taken away from me for whatever reason.

/u/board_gaming is shelter a need?
