Charisma MEANS that you attract people to you. Well, no shit he was "charismatic" then; tons of women were attracted to him.

The question is WHY were the women attracted to him?

And the answer is that his "charisma" was the result of him being EVIL and physically attractive. Women love good-looking bad boys. They love soap opera rapists. They love writing letters to serial killers.

Some characteristics are:

Confidence Optimism Openness Willingness to listen Empathy Assertiveness

You get the idea. So he can be a psychopath but still fake all of these characteristics which makes him attractive. It doesn’t mean he’s charismatic because he’s a bad person. It means he’s a bad person who was capable of presenting himself in a charismatic way.
