I've heard that FGM is done in order to prevent them from cheating on their SO. Through that process, the female's libido decreases thus she isn't interested in looks anymore and starts to focus on personality instead.

Circumcisions is genital mutilation. Hopefully the next generations will abolish its practice. Stats are looking hopeful in this regard, actually. It's happening less.

Well I'm not really sure why i am, my brothers aren't, but i am. Never really noticed a problem with it, although i can't relate to gross stories my friends tell about smegma because I don't think i can get it. Won't do it to my son though, there really is no point.

When my wife and I found out we were gonna have a baby naturally we had the discussion of circumcision. At first she was like "it's gross to have a foreskin, yadadada" so we argued. I showed her all the evidence. She was still on the fence. Then I showed her a video of a poor baby screaming in pain and told her what was going on. She cried, and has since changed her stance.

We're having a girl, but she now spreads the circumcision truth to other potential moms. It's amazing how little people know about it. Or that they believe falsehoods about.

That's because "roast beef flaps" is a topic brought up regularly, while circumcision is not.

I am personally against circumcision except in cases where it is medically necessary.

When it comes to female genital mutilation, the clitoris is usually removed as well to prevent the female from being able to enjoy sex at all. This is different from circumcision, in that the removal of the foreskin does not significantly affect performance or arousal.

I don't agree with either practices. They are outdated and barbaric.
