Just meet as many people as you can the first two weeks. During this time, it's socially acceptable to walk up to literally any group of people and introduce yourself and incorporate yourself into the conversation. Food courts, before class, on public transport, on your dorm floor, it's really strange. You'll see a ton of people do this and then it just tapers off by the end of the month. Get plugged in with people, join different clubs or get some easy part time job. You eventually will come across a group of people you jive with. I wish I would have taken a super light course load for my first semester and just focused on setting up a social life. This is the easiest time in your life to make a ton of friends, try not to waste it. You'll get mogged, you'll make some Chad lite acquaintances that are chill but eventually desert you for low tier frat life. You'll meet "down to earth" girls that only let you orbit while they go to frat parties every weekend. If you focus on finding people that share your values and goals, life becomes a hell of a lot more bearable. If you are sub6, just accept the blackpill and try not to think about how that cute girl that has been nice to you a few times in that one class is fucking a chad nightly.
