I think some people are missing the point. We live in an age where women can have sex and not worry about getting pregnant. In theory, this would mean sex would be taken less seriously and people would be having more sex, but the end result, and I'm not the first to point this out, is something like 20% of the population is having the extra sex, while the rest have not seen any change or effect. Maybe someday the rest of us who are not part of the sexual revolution will have our own robot girlfriends, but right now we do not live in that future world where nobody is denied sex or a life partner to help increase their quality of life.
