I don't think about anything, I cope with vodka.

i used to, but my gestalt has died (see: lacanian mirror stage)

Never thought I'd meet another lacancel

aye my nigga, how's your gestalt doing? JFL if he's still the handsome fuck he was back in the bluepilled days

It's been dead for years. How'd you find out about lacan? I found about it through this pop philosopher guy named slavoj zizek

He talks about how in the modern day women are the lacanian "big other", a standard by which everything else is judged by

i took a subjectivity class in university

i'm really well versed on 20th century structuralist/post-structuralist theory

Lacanian Mirror Stage is hella relevant for inceldom and male identity in the 21st century. We should do a write up on it.

You should do a write-up on it you're a lot well versed whereas I work at Wal-Mart. I'm reading up on lacan's theories now it's gonna be awhile till I really grasp this.

Now you've got me really interested in how the mirror stage relates to inceldom, I'm still trying to figure it out

the gestalt is a pre-language, Symbolic creation. it is a key part in the development of an ego. It is the internalization, deep in the subconscious of one's aesthetics. Think about your face with all it's blemishes, then think about your face in a dream, in a shower thought, in rhetoric, in language - how perfect does that fact look? The mirror stage is basically the creation of the self, a very specific aesthetic self

as incels, specifically as blackpilled incels, the reality of our aesthetics clashes with that of our ego. my theory is that, over time, the gestalt dies, our dreams deteriorate, our self in rhetoric and language is that of an incel

I see, so we're sort of able to see this stripped down version of ourselves and this makes us not able to function in a society in which everyone has a false version of themselves

Lacan's ideas about communication are really pertinent to incels. I don't remember it fully but he says language is this unspoken code that involves not communication with another person but the communication with what you imagine the other person thinks (the big other). But this is an unconscious things of course and it can't really be learned.

So us, who spent our developmental years avoid people are permanently stunted. We can communicate but we lack the ability to unconsciously communicate with what we imagine the other person thinks. This is what fundamentally makes incels "weird" and why gymcels or mentalcels exist. We're almost speaking another language than normies

yea all of that sounds cool and is definitely worth looking into

as for the 'false version of themselves' bit -- it's not so much false as it is idealized, symbolic, outside the realm of language - a form, a perfect representation of the self, a purely aesthetic one. We lose that form as incels. It's more a result of inceldom than the cause though

thanks for the knowledge i have read all the comments

here's Lacan's essay on the mirror stage. It's short as fuck, but it took me hours to read. Lacan writes in this poetic, dense style of prose (he's trying to make a point about the futility of language in conveying meaning accurately). It helps to read other things in the post/structuralist canon, but as far as i can recall, the Mirror Stage stands relatively apart, as it's own pillar in psychoanalysis.

It's good stuff. There are so many secondary sources on just this essay that try to tease out meanings for just a sentence or two. So if you're having trouble, you can seek out secondary sources

saved, i will start reading but i dont want to get much blackpilled

it's not much of a blackpill, and yeah reading it in french is highly recommended

i noticed that its translated from french so i will directly go read from the source material thanks

I also agree that we're fundamentally opposed to normies in a way that goes outside of looks, personality, or even virginity, but i think it's more of a linguistic thing

we are the binary that opposes and holds up what a normie is

without us, or something like us, the things that define what normal is is gone, and the world becomes less intelligible

thanks for the knowledge bro

Yup

Ya man.

Yh, I have a whole other life in my head with people I've met in my life in it. It's kinda creepy, even for me. Thankfully, no one can read my mind

Women can sense your fantasy and are creeped out by it. This is why you're incel

tbh no one is entitled to get in my daydream world thats too much privilege for normie scum

Nah I just have actual dreams where I'm happy then I wake up and experience the bitter realisation all over again

I try but the voices scream at me more often now and they aren’t letting me hide there.

yeah. i always look at people and wish i were like them. i hate everything about myself.

Its a bad sign. I do this too. Have this alternate world where I have enough money to fix everything wrong I see around me.

Yeah, I do it all the time, it's a great cope.

Oh yes definitely. Surprised that im not the only one. I have a bunch of playlists on YouTube comprised of songs that i would use in my second life that I've thought up in my head. Its great, really. Regardless of how pathetic it is xD

Gymcelling is probably the best cope out there, it's better than LDAR, drugcelling, etc. You might as well looksmaxx and give it 100%.

Well I have an anime style world in my head. You know times when the shy, quite protagonist loses control of his "power" and turns life of everybody around him in a fucking hell.

my man i legit still plays with toys
