CPS often doesn't quite have grounds to remove the child from an unsafe home because of insufficient evidence. WHICH IS BULLSHIT. But it's how it currently is, so w/e. Personally, I'm not against recipients of public assistance having to undergo hard drug tests, such as for meth/heroin/coke in order to get/keep their pub assist grant(s). Or maybe a substance abuse panel before receiving assistance? I don't know what all that would entail or how much it would cost, etc., but I feel that something like that could help both taxpayers and children of drug addicts.
