Im a woman and I made a catfish profile of a sensitive, "chad" looking, artist years ago.

I would get stoned, find very attractive women, go into MS Paint, and draw a unbelievably shitty portrait accentuating their features in a very unattractive way, and send it to them as if I thought it was good and was doing them a favor by taking the time to draw them.

It was hilarious the responses I would get. Most of them would just say they loved it and thought I was amazing. They did the typical shy giggly, hair playing, "oh you chad!" as you described. And I tried really hard to make these "portraits" look like shit.

However, this only really worked on the women that you could tell knew they were hot or were the clubbing type/wore tons of makeup. Tried it with a couple average, down to earth, more intelligent or artsy type of women and they weren't having it and didn't fall for it.

I didnt try it with women that were particularly unattractive because I didnt want to make them feel worse about themselves, so I cant give feedback on what they would have done.

Also want to add that I've made a catfish profile of an attractive "manic pixie dream girl" type and I got thousands of likes and hundreds of messages. I would say the most outlandish, off-putting, disgusting shit right out the gate to any guy that messaged me and I would say 90% of them would overlook what I said in hopes of getting a date.

It definitely confirmed the realization that at least half of men and women (if not more than half) will consistently never be happy with what they have, will always be looking to gain more status, and are narcissistic as hell. I also realized that these people were not reflective of how many people are in real life. Men and woman with awesome personalities just arent spending as much time online, so its easy to think all women are one way and all men are another because that's all we experience here.

I originally did the crazy catfishing for the laughs but after a while it really made me appreciate all of my friends and close family that are genuinely good, loving, kind, intelligent, creative people with hobbies that are not driven by social hierarchy.
