Look, I'm socially anxious. I let crush after crush go by without even saying a word. Sometimes they'd move on, find a guy before I made a move. Sometimes, I'd never even learn their names because I was too afraid to ask. Sometimes I'd try something and get dismissed without even a second thought. Then I'd be even less confident around the next girl that caught my eye. I let myself get trapped in a cycle that made me more and more afraid of talking to girls and afraid of rejection, which led me to behavior that separated me from girls and made me more likely to get rejected.
Today I'm going on a date for the first time ever because I just bit the bullet and asked. You can't avoid entirely interactions with women and then use the two instances where a girl looked at you funny to conclude that all women are terrible.
