To me thats one of the downsides of a site like reddit, the mind numbing circkle jerk that some find themslevs stuck into that only makes a bad situation worse . A lot of the comment and posts just show people here have a quite warped view of reality and in part that is due to this kind of subs. To bad: instead of helping each other people actually increase the worst fear/paranoia/... they have.

I can only suggest to take a step back and actually think what you are posting/talking about.

Its my point: ironic that a post lamenting how bad this sub is (not because of incel but the attitude of some of the people in it) is used to increase the circklejerk and as "proof" of the paranoia some have here .

I hate that quote she said at the end. Yes, in many cases that quote is true and actually makes a good point, but so many self righteous assholes will use that quote on anyone who has been abused or treated poorly in their life by multiple people. People use that quote with th assumption that large amounts of people will act ethically. Just try saying that quote to a victim of genocide, a black persons during slavery, or a Jew during the holocaust and see if it sounds justified.

That quote basically sums up exactly the sort of hostile treatment we face for opening up and being honest about the problems we face by being 'left behind' in life's race. If we're not completely ignored, we're insulted, plenty of falsehoods spoken of us and stigmatised. The very reasons why we're so reluctant to open up face to face with people in the first place...

And yet, we're deemed to be the problem! Nope... I might be a Wizard, but I don't have the powers of 'Jedi Mind Tricks'.

The only hostility is what we face, towards some of the painful home truths that regular people choose to sweep under the carpet - as it shows that their attitude is also a large part of the problem.
