No, I'm really not. I use MyFitnessPal to track my calories. Sometimes I eat less than 1000 calories a day, but I try not to do that very often.

I wasn't really losing weight when I was eating 1200/day, but once I went down to 1000/day, that's when I started losing more weight. It's just difficult to stay at or under 1000/day.

I actually have no idea what you look like but are you losing and how long have you been counting calories? I'm interested because I lost all my weight counting and it's made a huge difference.

Yeah I'm losing weight. Not quickly, but more slowly.

If you are bigger and really eating 1200 a day you should absolutely be losing weight... fairly quickly. Not going to rail on you but you have to be completely honest with yourself when counting. I had a hard time losing until I honestly logged. Snacks, drinks, dressings, condiments, and alcohol all count. You really need to stay vigilant and be completely honest with yourself. I also absolutely discourage cheat days. Once you hit your goal weight have a little party to celebrate and cheat but after that party... maintenance.

I don't really cook so yeah, I log everything. Pretty much everything I eat is portioned out in a box or can and I just zap the barcode.

Hey. Slowly with a diet you can keep up for really long. Best rest of your life is bad.

Plus if you do it slow. You have time to build muscle in between. Which is net weight gain but healthier. Cause when with only diet you also break down muscle. And like you forego the problem of loose skin. Which is really uncomfterble and then takes a looooong time to get like good and not loose like an old person.
