HS is not good because once cliques are developed it's hard to break out of them or enter them. I agree with this. I never had any luck with women in high school. When I read this sub, it's like a modern version of exactly how I felt when I was a teenager.

By the grace of God when I got to college I did manage to lose my virginity halfway through freshman year. I didn't turn into a sex god or have much change after that. The girl involved broke things off with me a few weeks after. I went another year or so before I had sex again. It's been a hard road. I still identify with much of this sub and think many posters are correct, but I have to echo the OP here. Things CAN change as you continue to grow.
