Their mothers are usually super doting and overbearing for the entirety of their childhood, and I think a lot of men who experience that think that it's completely normal in everyday social interaction. It's weird for guys because they act so affectionate and like a "mommies boy," and women are turned off by it because they are attracted to confident and assertive guys, not the way that men raised by single mothers were taught how to treat women.

They also are usually (keyword here is usually, obviously there are outliers) not very good at sports, which I'm sure everybody here knows that that makes school hell for you if you're already unattractive and socially awkward. They don't have a male role model growing up, and miss out on critical things that teach you how to "be a man."

Basically, women find these things unattractive, and men find them weird.

Really... I see marriage as fairly arbitrary and not really anywhere near comparable to having kids. The fact is I am 34 and coming to realise that years of isolation from any sexual contact with women has left me unable to do what should be natural things for a guy my age and with no relationship skills whatsoever.
