When you start organizing your room you are kinda starting to organize your whole life. You might have been put together already but some of us for whatever reason aren't so. Its also like a confidence booster. "I cleaned up my room, I did something....hmm what else can I solve in my life" then you keep solving small problems in your life then you start solving problems for the world.
Also cleaning your room gives you a feeling of control in your life. Organizing it just so makes you think you can now do other things.
This cleaning your room shit isn't even peterson's made up stuff. Its what therapists tell you to do if you tell them your life is out of control.
Most of J.P's things I find interesting has nothing to do with religion or politics. His maps of meaning (psych lectures) are really interesting. He is an amazing orator and he can articulate very well. And in here, its not his opinion...its what psych researchers found before him. He explains really well.
