In my opinion, napoleon complex/short man syndrome is the hardest part of being a short male. There exists an uncomfortable amount of people, particularly women, who will always look at everything a short man does, from his work ethic to his fashion sense, from his achievements to his failures through the lens of "napoleon complex".
